A new report from Data for Progress shows that over two-thirds of all
Americans support the billionaire tax, AKA billionaires paying their fair
share.^1

A billionaire tax would strengthen our social safety net and reduce the
federal deficit — it’s no wonder that it's such a popular policy across
the country.

We’re fighting to elect leaders who will represent this vast majority of
people, not billionaire donors. But we can only elect people like AOC,
Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, and Summer Lee with your help,

Through campaign contributions and influential lobbying, billionaires have
bought themselves a regressive tax system in which working-class Americans
pay nearly ⅓ of their income in taxes, while the ultra-wealthy avoid
taxes, exploit loopholes, and escape scrutiny from the IRS.

Justice Democrats is built on the belief that the ultra-wealthy should pay
their fair share in order to reshape our economy and implement policies
that would uplift working Americans, because we need more political
leaders who will stand up and fight for issues the majority of Americans
care about, instead of giving in to the interests of ultra-wealthy donors.

We’re grateful to all of the leaders in the progressive movement who have
been fighting for this kind of tax policy for years.

invest in working people and pay for it by raising taxes on the richest
