When I first ran for Congress, I knew that the fight ahead wouldn’t be easy. Well, it wasn’t then — and it certainly isn’t now.
After making history in 2020, I got to work right away to rebuild our nation: passing the American Rescue Plan, investing in American infrastructure, passing the first gun safety reform in decades, and investing in health care, climate, and more.
But this progress is fragile. Now, with MAGA Republicans – and the Freedom Caucus – controlling the House, everything that we’ve accomplished is on the line. They’re willing to take our economy and our democracy hostage, just to score a few political points. We must fight back.
So here’s where we’re at right now:
Our campaign is facing an all-important FEC deadline in less than 48 hours. MAGA Republicans, dark money PACs, everyone — they’ll be looking at our numbers and wondering if we’re ready to hold the line against GOP obstruction and take back the House in 2024.
