I don't want to take up too much of your time – here are three reasons why meeting our goal is so important:
1️⃣ When the finance reports for this quarter are ultimately released, people – from journalists and analysts to my congressional colleagues on the other side of the aisle – are going to use those numbers to gauge the support for my vision. Meeting our goals shows whoever will look that our vision really resonates with people across our district. 2️⃣ My team and I have talked about this – we can't begin to move the needle on reproductive rights, immigration reform, and life-saving benefits like Medicare and Social Security without a strong group of supporters fighting alongside us. And meeting our goals gives potential partners an encouraging sign of how far our team's reach is!
3️⃣ With the Chicago mayoral election heating up, this is the time to bump up our efforts, not scale back. We need the proper funds to help progressive candidates spread their message, and we need the funds to be able to reach out to you and other residents with important information. Meeting our goal allows us to expand our budget to do just that. Like I said, John, there's not much time to waste. Our End of Quarter Fundraising Deadline is right around the corner, and we're still $4,563 short. Will you pitch in today? |
