We all heard the threats of an impending “red wave” last election cycle, but thankfully, Republicans fell short of their goals in the key battleground states because people like YOU supported Democratic candidates, showed up at the polls, and made your voices heard.
We’ve got to keep up this energy if we’re going to keep beating extremist, far-right candidates at the ballot box. We have several critical races coming up this year and next, and what we do in this moment matters.
Even though the “red wave'' never came to fruition, Republicans are still fully embracing extreme right-wing ideology — banning books, passing hateful anti-LGBTQ+ bills, trying to prohibit any talk about race or racial justice in schools, and some are even endorsing the death penalty for people who have abortions.
Legislation like this is flat out dangerous, and it has no place in our country. But the only way we can stop them is by building on our 2022 victories and defeating them at the ballot box in the states that are on the map this year and next.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
