This is Bradley Whitford. I’m an actor and you might know me as the character Commander Lawrence in The Handmaid’s Tale. Some of you might know a little bit about the dystopian world depicted in that show, but I’m writing to you about the very real stakes for so many women and marginalized communities in Wisconsin if we don’t act on this historic opportunity to elect Judge Janet Protasiewicz and rebalance Wisconsin's state Supreme Court.

John, since Roe v. Wade was overturned, a criminal abortion ban from 1849 has been in place in Wisconsin. Governor Tony Evers has been fighting tooth and nail for reproductive freedom in the state, but with gerrymandered maps drawn in the Republicans’ favor, things are dire in Wisconsin.

Here’s the good news though: the team at the Democratic Party of Wisconsin has a historic opportunity to rebalance the state Supreme Court in their fast-approaching April election -- which could bring them one critical step closer to fair maps and access to reproductive health access in Wisconsin.

Voters are casting their ballots in this election right now, and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin needs your help ahead of their end of quarter deadline to bring this election home.
