Children and families affected by the destructive path of Cyclone Freddy across Mozambique and Malawi are in need of emergency relief and shelter. Storms and floods have destroyed schools and threatened access to basic services including safe water. As extreme weather events get even stronger as a result of climate change, UNICEF is focused on providing immediate relief and improving community resilience.

Syria’s children need peace
After 12 years of conflict, millions of children in Syria continue to live in fear of attacks and displacement. Even before the February earthquakes, two-thirds of the population required assistance because of an economic crisis, ongoing hostilities and mass displacement.
