*The Whole Life Disability Team (North) is looking for a Childrens Team Manager to work 37 hours per week on a permanent contract.* * The starting salary is 42,683 (Level One) rising to 44,632 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

*Job Role:* The Whole Life Disability service supports children and citizens with physical and learning disabilities from childhood right through to adulthood to ensure a smooth progression to adult life. The teams work closely with Health and Education colleagues, providing and commissioning support services to enable children and citizens to remain within their families and local communities whenever possible.
The successful candidate will lead and manage the team, to achieve and sustain high standards of performance and customer service. This will include complex case supervision / safeguarding, performance management and business strategy planning, as well as a detailed and in depth knowledge of relevant legislation and current drivers in Social Care.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Adults Team Manager to lead and manage the Whole Life Disability Service, to achieve and sustain high standards of performance and customer service. Each Team Manager is responsible for a locality team of Childrens and Adults Social Workers and unqualified support staff.
The Childrens Team Manager also ensures citywide management and oversight of Child Protection and Children in Care cases. The successful candidate will have a detailed and in depth knowledge of relevant legislation and current drivers in respect of Disabled Childrens Social Care, and a willingness to learn in respect of Adult Social Care.
The successful candidate will have thorough and complex knowledge of Child Protection, Children in Care and Children in Need legislation / policy and best practice in the support of Disabled Children and their carers / family. This will complement the Adult Social Care specialist Team Managers knowledge, who maintains a citywide responsibility for Adult Safeguarding. *
* *Essential Requirements:*
* Qualified Social Worker and Social Work England registration, and extensiveexperience of working with disabled children and families in a multi-cultural environment;
* Knowledge and experience of current legislation, issues and good practice in respect of disabled children and their families (including Child Protection, Children in Care and Childen in Need);
* Ability to manage quality, performance, recruitment, discipline, supervision, complaints and grievances;
* Ability to manage budgets and other departmental resources effectively.

We are looking for a creative, all-round marketer with a flair for social media and content to support Nottingham Catering - our ambitious commercial and education catering business providing lunch to over 50,000 childrenand serving 7,000 customers a week across our portfolio of schools and cafes.
Ideally you will have a background of working within the catering industry or have worked as part of a customer focussed marketing team in a commercial environment.
In a nutshell, you will work collaboratively with key colleagues across the Nottingham Catering service, the corporate marketing team and freelancers to develop and deliver the strategic marketing plan.
