Big problems hit us particularly hard, but women’s brilliance can yield solutions that benefit all. Big problems hit us particularly hard, but women’s brilliance can yield solutions that benefit all.

Despite being more than half of the earth’s population, women’s priorities too rarely get the attention they deserve. Big problems hit us particularly hard (look at incarcerated women, for example) but our brilliance can yield solutions that benefit all. Here we find the power of the Dream.Org way. We put a spotlight on the people who are hurting, and we lift up the genius of people closest to the problems. This Women’s History Month, that theme echoes through the snapshots from our three programs below – just as it always guides our work.

Onward,
Nisha Anand

Dream JUSTICE

Dream.Org is advancing the rights of incarcerated women during Women's History Month by collaborating with Empathy Network leaders to pass Dignity for Incarcerated Women legislation in PA & WI. This would provide access to basic necessities, healthcare & visitation rights. As we push for a more equitable and future for all women, we must not forget our sisters behind bars and must continue to, push for reform & a just society.

Dream GREEN

Big news! Green For All is a Phase One winner of the Department of Energy’s Community Clean Energy Coalition Prize! This prize will help achieve the Justice 40 initiative, which will dedicate 40% of climate funds to historically neglected communities. Now is a busy time in the climate movement. We have until April 10 to tell the EPA how they can distribute new climate justice block grants equitably. We are also asking Congress to pass the DERAIL Act so train derailments don’t poison the public and environment. Learn more about these actions and more exciting updates in our Green Tea monthly blog.
