Folks, it’s Blake – Morgan McGarvey’s Finance Director.

I’m following up on Morgan’s email yesterday about our important end-of-quarter goal. As I write this, we’ve raised just 41% of our goal and our FEC deadline is tomorrow at midnight.

The nerves are kicking in because donations just aren’t coming in as urgently as we thought they would. I hope you’ll help put us back on track by chipping in $5, $20, or even $50 right now.

This is a can’t-miss deadline.

The FEC requires that every campaign submit its fundraising numbers for public reporting after midnight tomorrow. And right now, our projections have us coming up short of our goal – and that would be music to Republican leaders’ ears.

Morgan already has his first opponent, signaling that this race is going to be one of the most competitive in Kentucky’s history.

There is a lot weighing on our ability to reach this end-of-quarter goal. I know we can get it done but we have to tap into that same grassroots momentum that helped elect Morgan McGarvey last year.

We have more than half of our goal to raise with just over 24 hours left to go. Can I count on you to be one of Morgan’s top supporters who chips in before the FEC deadline?
