There are two main reasons we need to raise as much as possible before Friday’s FEC filing deadline, and why we’re asking you to invest as soon as possible.

First, the obvious: strong fundraising at this point in the campaign allows us to invest in crucial campaign resources and build the strong foundation we need to keep Hillary in office in 2024 and beyond.

The second reason is that after the FEC filing deadline, we’ll be required to publicly report our fundraising numbers from the first quarter of the year. That means other people will be able to see our fundraising report – and like it or not, they’ll use it to make assumptions and decisions about our campaign.
