It is my great pleasure to announce that the 2023 FIRST THINGS Intellectual Retreat in New York City will be held at the Union League Club on August 11 and 12. While the primary exhortation of this missive is to “save the date,” our registration page is active should you wish to sign up now:

This year, our excellent tutors from Magdalen College of the Liberal Arts will be leading us in seminar discussions on that most fundamental of topics: Creation and Fall. In other words, we will begin at the beginning, and we hope you can join us. 
 
In the coming weeks, we will be sharing more about the syllabus, schedule, and other details for this August’s gathering. We have a few surprises in store . . . about which, more soon.
