Dear members and supporters,

As we are now just over a week into spring, we also have some small green roots of our own to announce regarding our website and outreach.

We have recently added a new topical 'quick fire' current affairs section to our website that will be updated weekly giving some insight into relevant contemporary news, as well as some briefer opinion pieces. It's embryonic at present, but should hopefully grow as from an acorn into something more substantial in time. <[link removed]>
The chief way that this will occur, is from those many thousands of you in our database who might on the one hand interact with it, giving us additional information we may have missed, or points we hadn't included in your comments below, but also from those budding authors among you, who would like to bring attention to particular issues of the moment and hearty perspectives on them by putting together a piece to submit to us. This could be either an opportunistic short on some occasional idée fixe or a more regular contribution, as suits yourself. Initially at least we would counsel that any such contributions be under a nom de guerre or moniker of some description.

With the development of various international policies seeking to curtail opinions on social media, including from our own once-conservative governing party in the form of the the deceptively titled 'Online Safety Bill', it's clearly advisable to more proactively develop our own platforms. These are only tangentially under their orbit, and therefore 'crime think' opinions can be shared without the heavy hand of censorship or banishment. We will continue to reach millions weekly though, through our social media channels.

We recommend your visiting the page above and of course if you have any feedback of any kind, we will be happy to receive it.

We will write again in due course, to advise on our *annual dinner* which we hope to hold in June this year. For now the final details are being worked out.

We hope that this email finds you all healthy and robust and thank you for your attention today.

Regards

Edward Littlewood
