Dear Gov. Ron DeSantis:

You’ve styled yourself as a Teddy Roosevelt-style Republican with an eye for conservation. But even as you seek billions for Everglades restoration, land acquisition and other initiatives, legislators are debating terrible bills that will undermine these efforts and create dirtier water.

Many of these bills are moving, Governor. So what are you going to do when they land on your desk?

We take a look at a federal judge's decision to throw out Big Sugar's lawsuit against the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers over the amount of water in Lake Okeechobee - and explain why sugar's loss doesn't automatically mean a win for those who want more water storage south of the lake.
