Did you know DAGA has a record number of women AGs?
It’s Women’s History Month! And I’m proud to say DAGA has a record-breaking number of women AGs. Chip in today to help us elect more history-making women this year and in the years to come.
Kathy Jennings, Delaware Attorney General and DAGA Co-Chair, here.
As Women’s History Month comes to an end, I’d be remiss if I didn’t shout out our amazing coalition of women AGs, many of whom are history-makers in their own right.
Dana Nessel was one of the first openly LGBTQ+ AGs in the country.
Andrea Campbell made history as the first Black woman elected AG in Massachusetts.
Charity Clark was the first woman elected Vermont AG.
Ellen Rosenblum was the first woman elected AG in Oregon.
Letitia James was the first Black woman elected New York AG.
Kris Mayes was the first openly LGBTQ+ and first mom AG of Arizona.
It’s a shame to still have to say it in 2023, but we still need more representation of women in all levels of government, including in Attorney General offices. Like Vice President Kamala Harris has said, women's issues are America’s issues. And as AGs, we’re committed to making peoples’ lives better and protecting our rights. Together, we can fight back against Republican attacks on our reproductive health care, and advocate for maternal health care services, early childhood education, gun violence prevention, and more.

DAGA Co-Chair
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
