Social Security and Medicare continue to be at risk under this administration.

President Trump recently announced plans to further weaken both programs rather than strengthen and preserve these important safety nets.

His message is that "entitlements" are adding to the federal debt.

There was no mention of course of the deficit-building tax cuts he gave corporations.

He’s even going so far as to cut Social Security disability benefits, and Rep. Andy Biggs, who I am running against in Arizona’s 5th district, agrees with these cuts and this false narrative.

Biggs has voted consistently with Trump and echoes his sporadic and damaging policies.

It is time to stop these attacks. Will you join me?

Social Security and Medicare are not entitlements. They are fueled by us and it is our money.

I will not only protect Social Security and Medicare, but I will work to strengthen these important programs.
