Friend, It’s been another busy week at the Nevada Legislature and this past Monday was the first deadline for the #NVLeg. This first deadline signifies that we are about a third of the way through the session and things are about to move at WARP SPEED! This week for “Out In Front,” we are joined by Senator Rochelle Nguyen who will be discussing SB242, her bill that will allow for research for Psilocybin or MDMA micro-dosing for the treatment of mental health disorders. We’ll also be joined by Eric Jeng of One APIA Nevada to talk about AB246, which will provide additional language access to voting information materials. Last, but definitely not least, is our very own Operations Manager Paula Luna, who will be talking about the HOPE (Healthcare Opportunities for People Everywhere) Act that Senator Doñate presented this week. The HOPE Act will allow Nevadans to enroll in Medicaid regardless of their citizenship status. We hope you can join us to learn about these fantastic bills sponsored by some great legislators! “Out in Front with Battle Born Progress” will be live at 5 p.m. tomorrow afternoon and we would love for you to join us!
