Warren is the only candidate to promise an independent Justice Department task force to investigate and hold Trump administration officials "accountable for illegal activity.”
The Internet filled up with glee when she announced this on Day 1 of the Senate impeachment debate as we all decried Republican rigging of the trial.

Even after a bombshell New York Times report this week that John Bolton's book reveals a clear quid pro quo of Trump using Ukrainian national-security aid to cheat in the 2020 election, almost every Republican senator remains in lockstep against hearing testimony from any witnesses.
Warren's accountability plan also calls for the resignations of all Trump political appointees. And the voiding of any federal contracts that arose as the result of corruption. And the release of every document Trump refused to turn over.
