Our annual Capitol Hill Days advocacy event is coming up on April 5-7, and we’d love for you to join us!
Capitol Hill Days is a unique opportunity to spend several days working alongside other dedicated activists learning about the important connections between reproductive health, population, and our environment.
Since we met last year, reproductive rights in the U.S. have changed profoundly following the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the implementation of many state abortion bans, and a current challenge to the approval of Mifepristone, a crucial medication abortion drug used by 5 million people since it was approved in 2000.
The very same politicians eagerly grabbing away the right to abortion in this country are eager to slash international family planning funding and reinstate the Global Gag Rule, and to strip these fundamental rights from people around the world.
Together, we will tell Congress that the Global Gag Rule has got to go and that international family planning must be prioritized. And that no matter what far right extremist politicians attempt to do, we will join as a united force to tell them that our reproductive rights will not be trampled on.
