This year, we received historic 20-year protections for the Boundary Waters from sulfide-ore copper mining, and thanks to the recent decision, this embattled wilderness finally has a semblance of the protections it deserves, but the fight is not over yet:

The Boundary Waters is not just a 20-year Wilderness. We must make the Boundary Waters a forever Wilderness by pushing for permanent protection of this beloved landscape to prevent any future threats from toxic sulfide-ore copper mining.
