Who would have thought that my impulse buy of Peace by Chocolate to give US
President Joe Biden would be the CBC "Moment?"

Well, I want to share that moment and pass it along.

My new friend Tareq Hadhad, founder and CEO of Peace by Chocolate, is
letting me buy a LOT of chocolate, making sure I have the very same
chocolate bar I gave the president - the bright yellow wrapper that says
PEACE. The Hadhads have the bar available in twenty languages, including
the Mi'kmaq word for peace, Wantaqo'ti. But I figured that we should keep
the Green Party connection going with the same bar that caused a stir when
President Biden could not find where Justin Trudeau had put it!

And the timing is great, because our wonderful new ED, Kevin Dunbar, just
told me we have a rather challenging funding gap to our budgeted plan for
the first quarter - ending March 31 - to rebuild our funds to be
election-ready!

With local friends in Saanich-Gulf Islands, I'll be packing up the bars and
mailing them from here in Sidney, BC, so let me know if you want a
