I’m going to pull back the curtain a bit and explain why I need to raise $6,972 before our first FEC deadline of 2023 in just 2 days.
After this deadline, my fundraising numbers will be made public for the first time this cycle.
And we know that Ron DeSantis and his cronies will be watching to see if we succeed or fall embarrassingly short.
I’ll be straightforward with you. If we’re going to fight fascism in Florida and across the country, we need to hit every single goal we set. Will you rush $27, or whatever you can, to help us hit this crucial budget goal? >>
DeSantis and his GOP extremists aren’t going to back down easily, and we need to start organizing against them NOW to beat them in this cycle.
To implement sweeping change, we need to:
- Hire top-tier staff with experience organizing their communities and fighting for justice
- Travel across Florida, to speak directly with the underserved communities who are too often ignored by politicians, including young Gen-Z voters on college campuses
- Run digital ads, to tell my story and show the world the truth about Ron DeSantis
… but for these tactics to be successful we need to invest early and move quickly.
That’s where you come in: early grassroots support from folks like you is what helped our movement defy the odds and win my election. So if we’re going to defy the odds in Florida and defeat fascism, I’ll need that same support.
