In this power-packed session, speakers from Citi, Morgan Stanley, Carbon Direct, and Oaknorth explored the concept of 'Climate Alignment' and what it means for banks to be climate-aligned from the perspectives of sustainable finance, risk management, and scenario planning. The panelists discussed how banks can connect their emission reduction targets to their sustainable finance goals, the role of managed phase-out, the role of policy and regulatory affairs, and transition risks.

: The panelists from Barclays, the Office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, the Coalition for Inclusive Capitalism, and the World Benchmarking Alliance discussed the question of what a 'Just Transition' means for banks, how it is evolving globally, and why it is an important factor for banks to consider in their climate transition journey. The panelists further discussed how banks can explore complex issues and identify opportunities that banks can implement. |
