Democrats have been outraising Republicans in Senate races — and their solution is to find extremely wealthy candidates who can fund their own races.

In short, Republicans can’t generate the same level of grassroots momentum that Democrats can. Instead of putting forward people-first policies that would attract genuine support, they are recruiting multi-millionaires and billionaires who have abundant resources already at their disposal.

Republicans have already made it clear that they want to finish what they started the last time they held the Senate majority: make cuts to critical programs Americans rely on and pass even more tax cuts for corporations and the ultra-wealthy.
