Yesterday, we made history.
In partnership with my sister-in-service, Congresswoman Cori Bush, we launched the first-ever Equal Rights Amendment Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives.
For far too long, women and LGBTQ+ folks have been relegated to second-class legal status in America — our contributions have been ignored, erased, or rendered a footnote in history. It’s high time we change that.
Together, we will do everything in our power to codify the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment of the Constitution. But, we need your support.
Will you add your name right now to say that you support codifying gender equality by enshrining the Equal Rights Amendment in the U.S. Constitution?

Enshrining the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment in the Constitution will establish gender equality as a national priority and center our most vulnerable and marginalized communities. It’s long past time we codify the dignity and humanity of all.
As we launch this historic caucus and continue this fight, I’m thinking a lot about my 14-year-old daughter, and how I don't want her to live in a country where the disparate treatment, outcomes, access, and second-class status of women continues to be normalized and accepted.
Please add your name right now to support adding the Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution to codify gender justice and equality for all.
Solidarity always,
