John -- You may not have this date on your calendar (yet!), but in just one week, vote-by-mail ballots drop in California. By next Monday, February 3rd, people will officially begin voting in the primary election. This is very exciting news. But it also means that we have our work cut out for us, because we’re truly entering the home stretch of the primary race. We’ve spent all year building our momentum and support across CA-08. Now is when we turn that grassroots energy into a win. My team is going to be working around the clock on our final push -- registering voters, reaching them with our message, and, finally, turning them out to the polls. All of these activities cost money, which is why we’re beginning our final fundraising drive before voting starts. This week, we’re going to be asking you to chip in donations of any amount to keep our team going. So, John, can you help? Every donation will go a long way towards making sure we win in just a few weeks. We’re up against an entrenched establishment -- the California Republican Party -- which is intent on maintaining control of vulnerable districts like ours. They also have the support of deep-pocketed donors, and dark money funds to draw on. But we’ve got you, John, and we’re counting on your help to win this thing.
