While Republican Governors across the country are banning books, bullying the LGBTQ+ community, and making child labor easier, Minnesota is setting a national example of progress.

Three months into 2023, Governor Walz has signed 18 bills into law, including the Restore the Vote Act, universal school meals, and the PRO Act to make Minnesota the first state in the country to codify reproductive freedom into state law since Roe v. Wade was overturned.

As Governor Walz says, Minnesota doesn’t fear the future. We create the future.

We’ve never been more hopeful, but our work is far from over, and extreme Republicans are doing everything they can to block our progress and drag us backward.

That’s why we’re reaching out this morning. Our first end-of-quarter deadline is this Friday, and to reach our budget target, we still need to raise more than $20,000.
