Former President Trump is willing to do anything to get back into the Oval Office, including starting a rumor that he would be arrested on March 21st.
He wasn’t arrested or indicted (yet). Still, his own rumor did exactly what he intended it to: he rallied his supporters to protest and he fundraised into his growing 2024 campaign war chest.
Trump’s campaign is built on lies, fear, and tricks. He already tried to place his hand-picked enablers in Michigan’s government, but together, we stopped him and elected Michigan Democrats who are proving what real leadership looks like.
But the threat of Trump still looms in Michigan, and we need to make sure we’re strong enough to stop him and all extremists who threaten our state.
While Trump is raising money off rumors, we need to focus on raising our own money to build an unstoppable, winning foundation to organize in every corner of Michigan.
