Trucking freight volumes and rates continued their decline in February but are well on their way to the "end of the downcycle," according to ACT Research analysis. "Looser truckload capacity, slowing imports, and improving rail service should all support stable to improving shippers' conditions through the balance of the year," said Todd Tranausky, FTR's vice president of rail and intermodal, in a release.
