PERKINS: Confront Evil, Protect the Vulnerable |

The inclination in the wake of the Nashville shooting will be to move away from biblical truth, the very source of hope and freedom that confused and troubled souls like Audrey Hale need. But that's not the way forward in a nation broken and bleeding. As much as the other side would like to manage the chaos by indulging these delusions and passing meaningless legislation, the problem isn't the state of our laws; it's the condition of the heart. |

Recent Google Doodle Features Surprisingly Pro-Life Imagery |

This week, Google featured imagery in the "Google Doodle" that conveyed overtly pro-life themes: a fully formed, distinctly human unborn child in utero, an image of 17th century midwife Justine Siegemund, and a mother sweetly smiling down at a newborn baby in her arms. It was an interesting choice for a publicly pro-abortion corporation to willingly promote imagery of unborn children in the womb, especially in the context of celebrating a woman who helped them be born. |

Tuberville Standing Ground over Taxpayer Funding of Military Abortions |

On Monday, Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) reiterated his intention to continue to block the promotions of military personnel that are sent to the Senate Armed Services Committee for approval, despite intense pushback from Senate Democrats and some Republicans. So far, the senator has blocked 160 promotions in response to a controversial policy directive put in place by the Pentagon in February that allows servicemembers to receive paid time off and travel expenses for having an abortion, funded by taxpayer dollars. |
