Dear Friend of MCV — We wanted to make sure you saw Rani's email from the other day about our exciting triple-match fundraising opportunity.

We're coming down to the wire on our March fundraising deadline, and we're still 25 donors away from hitting our goal to ensure we have the resources to continue fighting for our pro-environment priority agenda this legislative session in Augusta.

If you can, will you chip in right now to help us protect Maine's environment and democracy before March 31? [[link removed]] Every dollar raised before March 31 will be TRIPLED by a generous MCV donor.

In case you missed it, Rani's email is below. We can't thank you enough for your support!

Dear Friend of MCV -

In just a moment, I'm going to ask you for a donation to support our critical work at Maine Conservation Voters [[link removed]] (and to triple your impact) — but before I do, let me tell you why your support is so important today:

Every election year, we work through MCV Action Fund to elect pro-environment, pro-science leaders to office by educating and mobilizing voters across Maine.

But electing conservation champions to office is just the first step: Protecting Maine's environment, our democracy, and our climate future in the halls of Augusta is the critical work that follows.

Right now, MCV is in the thick of a tough legislative session, hard at work with allies pushing forward a bold pro-conservation agenda promoting environmental justice, clean energy and offshore wind, tribal sovereignty, protecting endangered species and our forests, and so much more.

However, not everyone shares our vision. Industry lobbyists, polluters, and the fossil fuel industry are spreading misinformation and influencing lawmakers to reject our priority legislation. They are well funded — and won't spare any expense to protect their bottom lines.

That's where you come in. Just like elections, it takes a lot of resources to pass critical legislation to protect our environment and climate. Your support today [[link removed]] will ensure we have what it takes to keep advocating in Augusta this legislative session to help push these historic bills across the finish line.

A generous donor has stepped forward to TRIPLE every dollar we raise between today and the end of March. Can we count on your support today to make sure our bold pro-environment agenda to protect the Maine we all love is signed into law by the end of the session? [[link removed]]
