Join Pres. Biden + call for an assault weapons ban. "We have to do more to stop gun violence. It’s ripping our communities apart. It’s ripping at the very soul of the nation."
– President Biden,
following the school shooting in Nashville, TN
President Biden is right, John. We have to do more. Congress needs to do more. [[link removed]]
Yesterday, Nashville became yet another community ripped apart by gun violence, when a shooter mercilessly killed three children and three adults with an assault rifle. More people – more children – are dead now, because Congress has continuously failed to ban these weapons of war. Join President Biden and tell Congress to ban assault weapons NOW. >> [[link removed]]
The gunman in Nashville used an assault weapon because it’s designed to kill as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. Yesterday’s shooting lasted only 14 minutes and six people lost their lives. These have become the choice firearm for mass shooters, like those in Uvalde, Parkland, and Newtown. And tragedy after tragedy, President Biden has pleaded with Congress, yet they refuse to listen.

These weapons of war do not belong on our streets nor in our schools, John. It’s long past time for our lawmakers to stand up to the gun lobby’s death money and heed the call of the president, Brady, and gun violence prevention activists across the country. Tell Congress: This is life or death. TAKE ACTION TO BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS. >> [[link removed]]
Thank you for urging our lawmakers to take the lifesaving action that our country deserves.
