I'll be frank: I’m writing to ask you to chip in to help us reach our first quarterly fundraising goal of the election cycle. But first, let me share why this deadline is so important.

At the end of every quarter, federal campaigns like ours are legally required to file our fundraising numbers with the Federal Election Commission, or FEC, who will then disclose how much we've raised and how many folks have chipped in to the public.

Republican super PACs are already spending big to try to take back the Senate and advance extreme policies, including cuts to public safety, Medicare and Social Security, and more. If our first quarter fundraising numbers look weak, you can bet the GOP will throw even more money at must-win Senate races.

You see, Senate Republicans have an advantage in the 2024 election. Out of the 34 seats up for re-election, Democrats are defending 23 — including my seat here in New Mexico.

That’s why it’s so critical that we meet our quarterly goal to show Senate Democrats' early momentum and once again defy historical odds to protect our majority.

So here's that ask I promised: Can you chip in any amount so we can report strong fundraising numbers to the FEC and power our work to hold the Senate Majority?
