Friends —
Last night, Voto Latino got a shout out from John Leguizamo on The Daily Show. If you missed it, you can watch it here. John covered Latino underrepresentation in media and then brought on special guest and political strategist, Ana Navarro, to discuss the importance of unity among Latinos and all underrepresented groups as well as how outreach to Latino voters must be brought into focus. At the end of the segment, he encouraged viewers to make a donation to Voto Latino’s work.
I am always impressed when I check in our fundraising numbers but the amount of support that came in last night has me awed.
If you were one of the people who contributed: Thank you. It is difficult to get the attention of the public in off-years and even harder to fundraise. To know you have our backs means the world to us.
Let me be clear: Now is the time to do the hard work. We have less than 20 months until the 2024 presidential election. In that time, 4.1 million Latinx youths will turn 18 and become eligible to vote.
Our mission is to shepard the Latinx community towards full realization of its political power. We have a real shot at working towards that right now. If we were able to reach those young people before the next election, we could elect leaders who make the right decisions for our country.
We have a lot of work ahead of us. If you’d like to invest in our mission, you can donate at the link below.

I can’t thank you enough for your support.
